Auditions are where selection becomes real.

Public voting does not begin at the moment someone applies. MTPN is structured so approved contestants first move through audition scheduling, check-in, live or virtual performance review, and judge selection before the public phase opens.

Purpose

The audition stage protects the quality of the competition.

Auditions are the first serious performance filter in the season structure. They give judges and the organizing team a direct basis for evaluating contestants before the public is invited to participate. This keeps the public phase focused on contestants who have already met the platform's standard for readiness, performance ability, and competitive fit.

Scheduling Logic

Slots should be clear, organized, and easy to follow.

Each approved contestant should receive a date, time, location, mode, and batch assignment. Where the audition is virtual, contestants should also receive access instructions and timing expectations. Where the audition is physical, venue details, check-in instructions, and arrival buffers should be communicated early enough to avoid preventable no-shows.

Judge Review

Selection should come from performance, not form submission alone.

Judges may consider originality, vocal or physical control, timing, charisma, crowd command, structure, and stage readiness depending on category. The key point is that the platform is designed so judges create the shortlist before public voting begins.

Contestant Preparation

Contestants are expected to arrive ready, punctual, appropriately dressed for their performance category, and prepared to deliver within the required time. Missed slots, late arrival, or incomplete readiness may damage progression chances even when a contestant's raw talent is strong.
